Minnesota Election Preview

It's all about House races in Minnesota. Info Here: Minnesota

Governor: Tom Emmer (R) vs. Mark Dayton (D) vs. Tom Horner (I) Polling Here: Emmer vs Dayton vs. Horner
Weak candidates all around. PREDICTION: EMMER

1st CD: Randy Demmer (R) vs. Tim Walz*(D) Polling Here: Demmer vs. Walz. District Stats. Walz  is a sophomore Democrat in a traditional Republican district. PREDICTION: DEMMER
2nd CD: John Kline*(R) vs.Shelley Madore (D)No Polling Here
                                                      District Stats. Kline rolls
3rd CD: Erik Paulsen*(R) vs. Jim Meffert (D) No Polling Here. District Stats Paulsen wins
4th CD: Teresa Collett (R) vs. Betty McCollum*(D) No Polling Here. District Stats. There was some early optimism by Republicans for this seat. I don't see it. PREDICTION: McCOLLUM
5th CD: Joel Demos (R) vs. Keith Ellison*(D) No Polling Here. District Stats. Ellison walks.
6th CD: Michele Bachmann*(R) vs. Tarryl Clark (D) Polling Here: Bachmann vs. Clark. District Stats. Bachmann is a sophomore Republican destined to be as Democrat target in perpetuity. They'll certainly target her in redistricting. Tarryl Clark is running the most tasteless campaign of the year. PREDICTION: BACHMANN
7th CD: Lee Byberg (R) vs. Colin Peterson*(D) No Polling Here. District Stats Peterson is in his 10th term, but Bush and McCain won this district. That said, there is no buzz on Byberg. PREDICTION:PETERSON
8th CD: Chip Cravaack (R) vs. Jim Oberstar*(D) Polling Here: Cravaack vs. Oberstar. District Stats. Lots of noise about Cravaack being withing a few points of 18 termer Oberstar and he only at 46%. Not buying just yet. PREDICTION: OBERSTAR
